Game, Set and Match.

I know very little about tennis, but what I do know, is that I would love to go to Wimbledon. Sitting out on the lawn, sipping on champagne, and nibbling on strawberries to the backdrop of some serious grunting from the court. It all sounds very quaint. I would be more than happy to  support Andy Murray from the side-lines and partake in a few ripples of applause, I'm pretty... ...READ MORE

Taking TOPMAN to Glastonbury

From Wednesday this week, over 100,000 people will be descending upon Worthy Farm in Somerset for Glastonbury, and I am one of them (cue fist pumping, bouncing up and down, and whooping by me). Weather reports suggest the rain will keep at bay, and although it may not be toasty, it should be dry (more fist pumping). Regardless, I will be packing for every season, but my upper-body Glastonbury staples... ...READ MORE

[caption id="attachment_657" align="alignnone" width="813"] Pitti Street Style: www.GQ.com[/caption] With Burberry packing their Brit Check Bags and returning to London full-time, and in the wake of an exceptional few days at the London Collections: Men, there have been rumblings from Paris and New York that Milan’s couture crown may be slipping. Giorgio Armani and Donatella Versace have publicly called on Italian designers to show exclusively on native soils, and the National... ...READ MORE

Trying the GQ Guide to Getting a Sibling Quiff

Yesterday GQ Style ran an article about how to achieve the Sibling quiff. Just in case you have been living in a menswear black hole, Sibling are the British design trio championing luxury knitwear with a sense of humour, and their collection entitled East Side Story was exceptionally well received by critics at LCM last weekend, as was the hair styling. So impressive were the 1950's quiffs, that Nick Carvell... ...READ MORE

Keeping it real.

When I pick up the Guardian or my copy of The Times, or any publication for that matter, I (perhaps naively) want to know that the editorial included is factual(ish) and news-worthy, and in the case of columnists that it is the genuine opinion of the author. I reward this honesty, with my faithful purchasing of the publication and my commitment to reading my favoured columnists whenever published. I never... ...READ MORE

Bird is the word.

We all love a bit of animal print, and lately we’ve loved tees with animals printed on them (see The Mountain), hell some of us even love putting our animals in some print of their own, but personally I’ve always had more of a thing for textiles featuring birds. Since I saw Ginger Rogers quickstep into Fred Astaire’s arms wearing that breathtaking feathery number (you know the one), I have... ...READ MORE

Stone Roses Style

No one portrays bleak skies, tower blocks, northern soul and Doc Martens quite like Shane Meadows. Having created iconic indie classics like ‘This is England’ and ‘Somers Town’, his latest venture ‘The Stone Roses: Made of Stone’ has the same whispers of tougher times and unbreakable camaraderie. Set when Britain was cradled between the fall of the Berlin Wall and the arrival of its most controversial political period to date,... ...READ MORE

Sunny side-up

I cannot remember the last time I visited BBC weather London to find a series of five golden circles accompanied by a double digit figure, but yes people, the British summer is here and to celebrate I am going to be treating myself to a new pair of sunnies – check out the ones I've got my soon-to-be-shaded eyes on... I am hearting the multi-coloured lenses with mirrored coatings from... ...READ MORE

3 reasons I’m loving London this weekend

3 Reasons I'm loving London this weekend 1) The Open Air Theatre at Regent's Park is open  To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee's timeless novel, has been transformed into a stella play and is currently showing at Regents Park's Open Air Theatre. It's a magical experience sitting amongst the tree tops lit by dusk and watching Scout's tale unfold to a soundtrack of parakeets; it's hard not to feel transported... ...READ MORE
