The Osman show blew my socks off. Sadly, because it preceded the Giles and Tom Ford shows, the Bloomsbury Ballroom was rather empty for such an epic performance by the designer. British born Osman Yousefzada, has fine design in his blood. His mother ran a couture dress making business in Birmingham, and years of craftsmanship are clear in his intricately details garments. Day 4 at LFW introduced a far younger, more dynamic set of designers to my schedule. In the TOPSHOP show space I saw girls grind at Nasir Mazhar's presentation. The 1205 show had a big gold star next to it in my diary - for a Girl in Menswear, this was the unmissable SS14 performance. Hosted in the School of Tropical Medicine and Disease, the industrial space was bare, with a limited number of attendants perched on benches and with fuss generally kept to a minimum.
