Last week, I popped into Push PR’s showrooms for their Christmas themed summer soiree (work that one out). With a whole host of brands on show, there was one in particular that caught this menswear-enthusiast’s eye, and that was leather accessories label TUSTING.
I am normally hot on my heritage brands, but this British treasure seems to have slipped me by – until now.
Born in 1875 and bred in Buckinghamshire, TUSTING produces quality handmade leather goods for both men and women. Still family-run, the bags are designed and produced in Britain and retain the craftsmanship that comes part and parcel with true tradition. The Clipper
For a brand with such a lengthy history it’s worth noting how contemporary their collections are. You will not find any fuddy-duddy, outdated accessories here, instead all the bags are on-trend and highly functional for the modern-day man/woman.
My slipcase is my staple piece of arm-candy, but I’m a sucker for a beautiful bag worn over the shoulder. Even more so though, I’m loving that backpacks have abandoned their teenage shackles and are now available in sleek, modern models. The rucksack I have my eye on? This one (below) from TUSTING – carrying your books around has never been so stylish.
