Borrowed from the boyfriend

A little while ago my boyfriend decided it was time to purchase a pair of skinny black jeans, he’d grown a beard, slicked back his hair and got a leather jacket, so really all he needed was to slink himself into some over tight denim and his rocker-come-Scandinavian persona would be complete. We spent ages trawling through stores looking for the perfect pair which we eventually discovered at The Kooples on Carnaby Street – All Saints was a close second but they had run out of jeans in his size. The biggest bonus of his new interest in les petite pantalon is of course that I can wear them, albeit still oversized. Hitched up with a belt and rolled up around the ankle, his skinnies are now my newly acquired boyfriend jean – sharing is caring after all.

So here I am, on a chilly day in Stockholm as the trees are going golden, wearing a pair of menswear jeans from The Kooples. I’m also wearing a men’s t-shirt from Eleven Paris, my new French fancy. My light-weight jacket is from TOPSHOP, as is my  clutch and my ankle boots which have some rather banging gold details on the buckles and heels. The bracelet is in fact a necklace from ASOS and I’m going to call my belt vintage because it’s been in my sock draw for months and has no label on it!
