You will never guess where I am writing this post from? Right now I am posting from the sky. Yep, I am a couple of thousand feet above Sweden with another hour or so to go before I land in Gatwick – wifi in the sky courtesy of Norwegian.com is seriously rocking my blogging world right now. Anyway, I am headed back to London for Fashion Week which starts this Thursday and I’m pretty psyched to report that I am going to be diarising my week for Stylist.co.uk, and also working with accessories label Mascotte who are the official footwear sponsors for LFW and designing limited edition shoes to be debuted at  the PPQ show on Friday- exciting stuff.ANTHEM_page-01Anyway, whilst I am here I wanted to tell you about a London based menswear store that has caught my eye. Tucked away off Shoreditch High Street is Anthem Store. Set up by Simon Spiteri, who put Liberty’s menswear department on the map and won multiple awards for doing so, Anthem Store is a carefully curated collection of high quality, beautifully crafted menswear pieces sourced from around the world. Simon’s passion for menswear (in particular Japanese denim) is clear from the minute you walk through the shop door, he knows his brands inside out and will gladly share their stories with you too. This is a hotspot for the discerning menswear shoppers aka menswear geeks – and me. ANTHEM_page-06

Not only did I fall in love with the menswear on offer, but I was also delighted to discover that their Look Book features a female model! Yep, Simon has so many girls walk through the door asking when they will start stocking womenswear that he decided to show ’em how it’s done by creating a campaign around girls wearing the Anthem Store’s menswear goods. Featured in this post are some of my fave snaps from their journal, this girl does it like a dude to perfection!
