chloe

Chloé conjures up ideas of romanticism and of paired back femininity. The label responsible for propelling Lagerfeld into the spotlight has given us whisper weighted fabrics a plenty, but it’s the shoes (oh the shoes!) that lend a utilitarian feel to the label’s easy breezy, flowing aesthetic. Chloé makes me feel nostalgic for eras I was never a part of – the seventies for example, which serve as inspiration for pre-fall.

These python sandals trimmed with gold hardware are firmly on my wish list. Like the Chanel espadrilles were several months ago, my toes are achingly to slip into these flats. For around £700 they’re hardly a cheap buy, but hey we can dream right? And whilst we’re dreaming, I recommend scouring Zara – you can guarantee there will be a £40 equivalent until we can afford the real deal.
