We all love a bit of animal print, and lately we’ve loved tees with animals printed on them (see The Mountain), hell some of us even love putting our animals in some print of their own, but personally I’ve always had more of a thing for textiles featuring birds.

Since I saw Ginger Rogers quickstep into Fred Astaire’s arms wearing that breathtaking feathery number (you know the one), I have been using any formal occasion to dress up in some plumage. However, for day-wear I’m all about the poultry print. Whilst women’s wear is cavorting with Thumbelina sized swans, dainty swallows and canoodling love birds, our more badass feathered friends are featured in abundance upon the men’s rails. Here are the best in show to wear whilst shakin’ your tail feather –

  1. GANT Rugger – Shirt with Penguin Camo penguin
  2.  Agi & Sam for Topman – Off white feather print Trench coatowl
  3. AMI – Bird-print cotton shirtmrporter
  4. Cuckoos Nest – Murdock cuckooGivenchy -Birds of Paradise Tee (ok, ok, I know it’s a plant but you get the gist – check out Worland stocked in Urban Outfitters who’ve produced a similar number for a fraction of the $)
