I am unabashedly besotted with these suits. If you are a regular reader of the blog, then you may have seen my recent post wearing a spiral print suit by Swedish label Mayla. Whilst the colour block two piece is undoubtedly classy, a head to toe print is a feminine way of making a very masculine statement.
This season has seen florals take the sartorial centre stage, with the likes of Mother of Pearl, MSGM and Stella McCartney creating beautifully tailored options, and in menswear Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and even sportswear favourite Original Penguin aligning themselves with the SS14 trend. Although I love anything featuring a bouquet, I cannot take my eyes of this toughened up version of the tuxedo by South African designer Craig Port featuring an Art Deco style maze print. Styled by Bee Diamondhead with this season’s ever-popular pool slide, I am on the hunt for a womenswear version now!
