At the heart of Regent’s Park is the London Fashion Week Topshop show space, a festival ground of colour and tents hosting a selection of shows and presentations this week. The grounds were the home to Sophia Webster’s secret garden tucked away behind the central catwalk.
We queued up this afternoon to make our way through the floral arches admiring the hanging baskets where butterflies rested and rather fabulous footwear nested. Katy B delighted us with her vocals as we sipped on champagne and made our way around the presentation space where dow eyed models with antenna styled hair giggled and frolicked in flower beds showing off Sophia Webster’s S/S14 collection. Pop art inspired clutches and heels declared tongue and cheeky slogans, polka dots and lollipop colours were the order of the day and spring time insects of butterflies, centipedes and ladybirds were scattered throughout the collection in a pick n mix nod to A Bug’s Life.
