Like the cigarette trouser, slim fitted chinos are easily dressed up for the evenings. As this shade of blue is relatively neutral, adding a statement colour such as red immediately transforms the look. Last week I popped into Beak Street's recently opened GANT Rugger store, the first stand-alone Rugger store to debut in the UK. Although worn by the likes of Ryan Reynolds state-side, the GANT brand for us Britons is often associated with chinos and cashmere jumpers worn on Sunday afternoons by an older, discerning male audience.
