Sorry for being off the radar for the last week, I was catching the final bit of sunshine in Lisbon before Stockholm welcomes in winter, which incidentally it appears to have done in my absence. To commemorate my return to the northern part of Europe I’ve decided to do today’s outfit post on one my recently discovered Scandi-brands, WHYRED.
WHYRED declares that they are all about ‘art, music and tailoring’ which is apparent if you browse their site, it’s jam-packed with new music and art talent that compliment the aesthetic of the clothing line. Many of WHYRED’s pieces are unisex, and I’ve crushed on prints and fabrics in their menswear aisles only to discover them in a better fitted women’s item (and vice versa). The piece de resistance in today’s outfit (in my opinion) is this double breasted, indigo-coloured asymmetric blazer. I love every single detail on this jacket. From the mismatching lapel to the contrasting pockets, these playful details span across the brand’s AW13 collection making it a delight to wear.
