I’m coming back to London for Fashion Week – hooray! This means a few things for an otherwise Stockholm based somebody 1) I will be able to drink a glass of wine (hell a bottle of wine) for less than a tenner 2) I can trade in my “fil” yoghurt and granola for a proper eggs Benedict for brekki (yum yum) and 3) I get to go SHOPPING! Yes, Scandinavia breeds (in my humble opinion) some of the most beautiful design talent in the world, but other than H&M, there is little in the way of high street shopping. A lunch break retail fix is harder to swallow when your average basket value sits at around £100, so impulse purchases have had to be tapered (well sort of).
Cue this week’s shoe in focus. These leather, monochrome cut-out booties with contrast patent toe have me drooling. Courtesy of high street heroes Topshop they are also available in all over black – top up my oyster card, and pop me on the Circle Line Oxford Circus I’m coming for you!
